PSE were appointed to appraise an existing stage in terms of its structural adequacy for a planned music festival.
The stage structure comprised of tropical hardwood Iroko planks spanning onto a series of folded Coreten channel sections.
The team’s diligent desk study resulted in the sourcing of the stage’s As-built drawings and the contractor responsible for its build. This prevented the need for intrusive investigations, which could have damaged the existing stage and enabled an accurate assessment of the capacity of the existing structure.
